THE STORY OF BY DAWESY

Oliver Dawes… or By Dawesy as he is creatively known, is a sought after children’s author whose writing style includes quirky rhythm & rhyme, short stories and short novels. 

 

Originally specialising in rhythm & rhyme picture books, By Dawesy has also released five short novels and three short story books with much more to come in 2023.

 

By Dawesy states, “I would describe my work as family entertainment. Predominantly it’s for kids and teens, but I often get feedback from adults expressing how much they’ve enjoyed my work. I think it’s the unique blend of extraordinary I put into my writing. The beautifully bizarre, thought provoking worlds I create.

Although I have a rough age guide for my books … I refuse to be strict about that, as by doing so, I wouldn’t be true to my writing. I write freely and without restriction, after all, so long as the balance is there, there’s nothing uncouth or offensive, who says small & big humans can’t enjoy the same quirky adventures. My books truly do have something for everyone."
